Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of all non-profit organizations and the Maine Forestry Museum is no exception. We have an extraordinary group of individuals offering their valuable time and expertise to help the museum in a variety of areas. We have volunteer opportunities involving landscaping, trail maintenance, carpentry work, event planning, parade management, woodworking projects, ticket & admission fee collection, food preparation, donation campaigns, digital technology implementation, and much more.

Donations

Your generous donation helps to maintain our buildings, exhibits, and grounds. Educating our visitors of the importance of forestry and the logging industry have made to both the social and the economic development of The State of Maine is a primary reason for our existence.  The Maine Forestry Museum is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization. Your donation may be tax deductible.  Please consult your tax advisor to determine deductiblity of your donation.
