Alden Grant Prints & Notecards

Through his 19 color paintings reproduced in “Logging in the Maine Woods,” Mr. Alden Grant offers us a guided tour of the 1915 to 1928 sporting camps and logging camps of the Rangeley Lakes Region of western Maine. Inspired by both environmental concerns and the skills of the timber men, Mr. Grant shares his knowledge about life in the woods with the men who cut down the four-foot-wide “pumpkin pine” and the balsam fir which provided lumber and paper.

Here we offer you the opportunity to own fine art Giclée prints of these classic paintings in a variety of sizes, with your choice of matte or no matte, or framed, as well as prints on canvas that are virtually identical to the real painting. These are of the highest quality reproduction available in the art world.
The complete Alden Grant Painting Collection at the Maine Forestry Museum is curated by Harry Simon, owner of the Simon Gallery in Morristown, New Jersey.  We are grateful to have his expertise.
