RLRLM Logging Festival and Parade

10:00AM – PARADE

“Celebrating Rangeley’s Heritage” begins
Following parade, festival begins at 11:00AM
(Watch for the White Family’s parade float: “Muscles” Number One!!!)

~~~SPECIAL MUSEUM EXHIBIT (Indoors and Outdoors)~~~

Lance White and family members will gather by “Muscles” Number Three on the Museum grounds and talk with visitors.

In the Museum Building–Continuous presentation of slide program on Elijah “Tiger” White and family: logging, history of “Muscles” from “Muscles” Number One on, and the White Family’s contribution to the Museum. Wayne White and Museum curator Peggy Yocom talk with Museum visitors. The White family sells the book they have written—The Muscles Book—in the Museum for $33.00.

LumberJack & Lumber Jill Competitions sponsored again this year by our friends at Stihl®. Matt Galambos will once again serve as RLRLM’s Event Announcer and is also in charge of the event this year – Click HERE to read some awesome logging competition history on Matt!)

At the Vendor’s Court this year will be Woodworker demonstrations – wood burning, wood furniture makers, scroll saw, whittlers, chainsaw carvers and more. Fiber handiwork artisans (spinners, knitters, quilters) will be giving demonstrations and advice of their artistry/craft. All woodworkers and fiber handiwork vendors will have their wares available for sale.

Please note: LumberJack and LumberJill competitions are limited to a number of participants this year in order to complete this event before 4PM. Matt Galambos, Emcee is in charge of this event.
